chance for showers. there are light sprinkles out there. they already crossed south of baltimore. there's more up into southern pennsylvania. so it's just showing that it's going to be a little more unsettled today. i think for baltimore, our best chance is to see more showers will be in afternoon. if you have outdoor plans i would start off the day thinking you could be outdoors. it's the evening hours that we may see more showers. 54 at the airport. high temperature today just as cool, in the low 70s. again, that chance for showers starting late in the afternoon towards the evening hours. we'll talk about what comes up in the seven day which includes more rain. stay tuned. our big story. once again the orioles. it was a little closer last night, but they once again take down the red sox. >> right. how about them o's. manny machado turns a double play to get the o's out of the inning. then a few innings later the 19-year-old breaks a 3-3 tie with his seventh home run of the year. that's where the score would stay. tying them for first in the the american league east with the yankees. p

on southbound 95 coming out of the northeast. my ministry at calvert, closures because of the baltimore book festival. 11 minutes to go south on 95 from the beltway down towards 32. the roads are still wet. building volume but no official delay. heavier on southbound 295 down towards 32. that is the latest on traffic pulse 11. >> a late night for ravens fans but it was worth the lost sleep. the ravens got some breathing room towards the end of the third quarter as cary williams picks off brandon weeden which gave the ravens a 13-point lead. the browns held tough. the ravens came on top 23-16. the of the big story was the return of the nfl officials after the lockout. the officiating crew was treated to a hero's welcome at m&t bank stadium last night. fans were thrilled to see the return of the professional officials. after the game, it was clear to those on and off the field that the situation had improved. >> the communication was good. i would like to know what happened on the last play. they were excellent. guys on the sideline did a great job communicating. i think now we're on the same

gave you on this week against the bureaucrats and baltimore police are trying to decide who deliberately saw -- started fires. >> we are joined live from outside the apartment with the latest on investigations. and what's good morning. they say that molotov cocktails were crowned at the scene of both fires. it was just a morning just before 4:00 when residents of the park side gardens apartment complex book up to smoke and fire -- and fire on all three levels. seven people were taken to an area hospital with varying degrees of injuries. also a fire at another apartment complexes. buckley and no one was injured there. both were started by molotov cocktails, the work of an arsonist. please believe the incidents are connected and looking for clues. they are hanging science and sticking it permission around the information. these apartments appeared to be chosen at random. >> it does not appear based on the victim ology of the incidents that these are targeted. it could be as simple as juveniles playing a dangerous prank or if it is something more serious, we will be on that ver

the weekend in baltimore city that killed an aberdeen police officer. here is what we have been able to gather. charles armenta was on a party bus at 3:15 a.m. saturday morning. he fell off the side of highway plunging nearly 50 feet his death. what we do not know is why the bus pulled over. police have not explained why they believe that he got off the bus in the first place. >> a little bit story of the weekend. things have settled down nicely and this beautiful weather will be here for an extended stretch. the raider composite shows clear skies and a few fair weather cumulus in the mountains to the north and west and some cool, dry air on those northerly breezes. mostly 70's here. 55 added oakland. feeling like fall in the mountains. the forecast for the game, clear skies and a light northwesterly breeze, low humidity and comfortable football temperatures. we will settle back into the 60's as the game wears on. perfect conditions for football. the seven-day in a few minutes. >> our newsroom has been getting calls and e-mails, worried about the rap program using poison that could harm childr
